Fondazione Edmund Mach (FEM) is a leading Italian institution active in research, education and technology transfer in the Agriculture, Food and Environment sectors. Seven hundred people work on the 14-hectare campus equipped with classrooms, greenhouses, offices and laboratories, all outfitted with cutting-edge equipment. FEM also has 120 hectares of fields for experimental and agricultural purposes, plus 65 hectares of forest.
Within FEM, the Research and Innovation Centre (CRI) is specifically dedicated to pursuing scientific research, developing technologies and promoting innovation in the sectors of agriculture, bio-economy, ecology, biodiversity, environment and food. By applying the most advanced scientific approaches with cutting-edge technological equipment, the Centre is well-placed as a hub of excellence, with the capacity to generate new knowledge and achieve ambitious objectives.
