Autotrophic production takes place in flat panels, tubular photobioreactors, and raceway ponds, while heterotrophic microalgal growth occurs in fermenters. Allmicroalgae is one of the largest microalgae producers in Europe, equipped to process and deliver over 100 tons, annually. Allmicro’s dynamic and highly skilled technical team is research-driven and works to improve overall microalgae biotechnology through several Research Projects, namely three H2020, one EEAGrant, three P2020 projects and AlgaeNet4AV Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Staff Exchange.
In AlgaeNet4AV, Allmicroalgae is responsible for the development and optimization of microalgae production methodologies, to efficiently obtain biomass and bio-products. We will improve growth by leveraging both biological and technical opportunities and limitations, and we’ll scale-up the most promising solutions.
